EDM Defenseman Roy may be out

Just glanced through NHL on the Fly, caught a snippet and it looks like Mathieu Roy of Edmonton may be injured with a head/neck injury.

If he is indeed out of any number of games, I'm wondering just how the Oilers are going to cope with the atrocious number of injuries to their defence corps.

(Quickly looked through the boards and didn't see this posted, sorry if it's already here and I missed it. )

EDIT: As for details of the injury, Roy was hit by Nashville's Jordin Tootoo. The hit was pretty much clean, but Roy spun in the air like a helicopter blade and his head slammed into the boards.

Souray, Pitkanen, Greene and Roy. Yeah, the Oil are screwed. Tarnstrom and Smid are probably the top defence pair now.

Just to update: Roy suffered a seperated shoulder, sources are reporting. He is listed as being out indefinitely.

Anyone think Lowe would give up Horcoff/Stoll/Hemsky for a "quality" Dman?

EDIT - now's a good time for the Leafs to unload McCabe, or Kubina.

If Ferguson could pull a Kubina for Stoll/Horcoff trade, leafs fans would love him. I doubt it'd happen though.

Not sure if anyone wants Hemsky for that price tag, a team with space may look to get him if the Oil would move him. I'd say the likliest to leave is Horcoff.
