It is amazing how the Nashville sale grabbed so much attention, yet this one slipped under the radar, probably has something to due with the fact the sale was thought to have gone through successfully.

Somebody needs to organize a seminar on how to buy an NHL franchise or something...apparently there's a clause in the new CBA that says you have to partially commit to a purchase, dick around for a few months, then let it fall apart after wasting a satisfactory amount of time and money.

I take it you do not spend a lot of time in the business world?

Acquisitions are not simple transactions. I'll give you one example: A client of mine spent about 2 years working on a deal to acquire another company, which eventually ddin't happen. These things happen all the time.

Probably because the Lightning are in no danger of moving.
