There are about a billion songs he could use that would be funny. Example...there are plenty of songs that have the word "hook" in them. The repetition drives you crazy after a while...now i just think theyre stupid. Expand the repertoire at least for the songs, theres a s***load to choose from. I mean, for example have they ever played that "Hold me now.." song by the Thompson Twins? I cant say ive heard that. It would be a nice alternative to the usual "Hold me....hold me.....blah blah blah" and Hey Hey Hockeytown...my god.. can you say PLAYED THE F*** OUT?! That and that stupid "Red Wings!...Red Wings!..." whatever that song they play is after they win. Well...i guess you could say the team is doing their job if you get sick of that one though! The music guy played the swan lake ballet as the refs came out....and one of them actually did a toe loop jump! It was freaking hilarious! The crowd loved it. What would you think of having a real, live old-school organist at the Joe as opposed to this canned muzak which is mostly garbage. In fact, if there is a 10 second break in the action for a face-off, maybe I would rather hear nothing than 10 seconds of some stupid song I've already heard 100 times. My two favorite JLA Music Guy moments are: 1) When the Florida Panthers took to the ice for the start of the period he played the jingle from the "Meow Mix" commerical. 2) When the Islanders took to the ice he played "The Dance Of the Sugar Plum Fairies"!
