Looks like Horcoff aggravated a past injury at the ASG and will undergo season ending surgery. Too bad for the Oilers, they've had so many injury problems this year. Between that and the almost for sure new ownership situation, anything think Lowe will have a firesale, and if so would anyone look good in the winged wheel. If Souray could stay healthy, he would solidify our back end and add another threat on the PP.

Ouch.. This team is destined for the basement of the NHL. All thanks to Kevin Lowe, Horcoff was the only player giving 100% every night and it shows. It baffles me how people here in Edmonton still think he is the savior, all he has done is ruin the Oilers - and now Anaheim will get a top 5 pick in next years AMAZING draft.

Nicely done, Lowe.

Idiot.

Ahh, the fruit basket gag...

Actually, I would've named Horcoff as the guy to go after. And I'd probably pass on Souray, because he's been the most injury prone player out of them all. An alternative that comes to mind is Jani Pitkanen, who I have heard could very well move. Staos might be a decent depth player on defense. Not to take anything away from Meech, but with Kronwall consistently hurt, and a 46 year old on the back-end, it pays to be careful. Stoll might also be interesting, but perhaps he's hurt too, I have no idea! And last but not least: Ethan Moreau... but I doubt he'll move.

All of these suggestions are of course completely dependent on the players contract status and what it would take to get them...about which I am totally uninformed.
