dgodzina 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2008 In honor of tomorrow's game against the Leafs, and the fact that they recently gave up 8 goals in one game to Florida, I thought I'd share with you all the highlights of the 8-1 rout of Toronto in Maple Leaf Gardens from December of 1998. Memories from the game include Shanny scoring from center ice to tie the game at one and Kirk Maltby's first (and only?) career hat trick. Hopefully the same result happens tomorrow. Enjoy! Yep my first season following the Wings....4-1 up in the 3rd in game 7, lose 5-4 in OT Of course, as this was pre-97, Yzerman got the entire blame (despite having a broken hand).
