Yemack 1 Report post Posted February 9, 2008 (edited) if Wings dont pick up at 2nd, I'll just turn off the tv, I have much better things to do at sat afternoon and I dont want to waste it watching wings practice Edited February 9, 2008 by Yemack
puckbags 863 Report post Posted February 9, 2008 We all get excited to watch two original six teams play each other and its a bloody snooze fest!!! We had better get used to this style of game because teams are just going to dumb the game down against us. They barely send in a forechecker and then clog up the neutral zone. It probably won't work but it's the best strategy for teams to try and beat us. The 1st period definetely looked like two teams who don't play each other very much!! zzzzzzzz
datsyukismyfriend 4 Report post Posted February 9, 2008 i'm glad to see our pp and pk remain an embarrassment. the wings just don't seem to care anymore. they've been going through the motions for weeks.

datsyukismyfriend 4 Report post Posted February 9, 2008 i hate it when we coast through the regular season like we've been doing. it never does us any good. by the end of the season the team has developed such a sense of complacency that adopting a sense of urgency for the playoffs isn't feasible. i just don't see much fight in this team anymore. either they start strong and relax big time or they wait until the end of the game and try to squeak out a win. 58Miles2Joe 12 Report post Posted February 9, 2008 ok, I'm sorry, but I thought of this and I have to share. Samuelson reminds me of the kid we all knew in junior high that was bad at sports and was trying to learn how to play basketball in gym. Every time he got the ball he'd kind of panic and just automatically shoot whether he was covered or not, and whether he knew where the basket was or not. Anyone else see that? Sorry to add another Sammy bash
