Guest Jeremy88 Report post Posted February 11, 2008 I was just checking the stats, and Ovechkin is 1st in points with 76, but Zetterberg is only 6 points behind and Datsyuk is only 9 points behind. Imagine if Z hadn't missed those games with his back. He might be leading the points. If the wings can get out of this mini slump, Z and D might have a good shot at getting the most points this season.
Andy Pred 48 337 Report post Posted February 11, 2008 The Caps only really have AO as there get to guy, he plays all the PP mins and some. Unless he has a dramatic fall off or heaven forbid got injured I can't see any one catching him. I hope Z and Dats can get into the top 5 and one of them hit the 100 point mark but I think that is a tuff call for them. Still its good to see a pair of wings in the top 10 for scoring. Zetterburg: 22.16 per game 15.72 ES 4.31 pp 2.14 pk Datsyuk 21.34 per game 15.42 ES 4.13 PP 1.79 PK AO 23.01 per game 17.29 ES 5.57 PP .15 PK What's even more remarkable to me is that Hank and Pav are putting up those kind of numbers, while contributing to the teams PK units on a regular basis. AO, as you can see, doesn't have a regular PK shift.
