redwings56 1 Report post Posted February 19, 2008 If he wants to play in the NHL he needs to work on rebound control. If he did that, he wouldn't have allowed that one goal today. It was the direct result of him not controlling two rebounds in a row and that wasn't the only instance of that today. I guess everyone missed that about his game.... Wow, really? It was a screened shot from the point that was redirected by Lilja trying to play soccer. Howard had it heading toward his chest and then he had to stick his pad out which resulted in the bad rebound. Wake up. He is not playoff starting material this year, DOM in the guy. Howard is looking really good for next year though. Possibly the same way Ryan Miller developed.

DaKineMaui 8 Report post Posted February 19, 2008 Because it was one game. Not sure how he'd get to 2 (two) games with that logic.
haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted February 19, 2008 Not sure how he'd get to 2 (two) games with that logic. I thought you were talking about him carrying the load as the starter. He can play games without being the #1 goalie.
