The Enforcer 13 Report post Posted March 1, 2008 Yeah yeah, yeah....well, the crow was good. I captured a nice fat one and deep-fried it in peanut oil. It had a tasty kind of tang to it, like he just feasted on some possum road kill. Lets assume that Stu keeps playing like that...If our 2nd line all of a sudden starts producing offense, you think we can beat the ducks in 7 games??
IceMunkee 15 Report post Posted March 1, 2008 you know what is crazy about this thread. one guys thoughts has seriously turned into a rumor with a ton of weight. I have been talking to people last night and today that say, "Stuart is not gonna be physical, I read it!" When turns out this is where they got it. The Babs said the great thing about Stuart is that he can hit and he can move the puck up. Craziness I tell ya.
Never_Retire_Steve 35 Report post Posted March 1, 2008 Solid enough, him and Kronner were our only dressed defensemen who didn't end up in the minus category That was a beautiful play by Kronwall on that goal as well, man he has really turned up the offense in the second half. There is a difference between bitching and overreacting than overreacting and giving up on your team,. TO answer your question, I think so, with a healthy Kronwall, a bruising Stuart, I think this team has a better shot than last year. I think Stuart was exactly the type (not that he is the Shanny of this year) of player this team needed for a playoff series in the west. Playoffs in the west have become very physical and if you don't have a player or two who can go out and beat on the other team physically you will eventually be worn out. Not that I didn't think the wings could win before Stuart he just makes the odds better. Edited March 2, 2008 by Opie
