Um no, the tradition is to throw several during the playoffs... Having like TWO thrown on during a regular season game isn't bad... If there was more than that though I could kind of be upset too. I read somewhere that the people who throw them onto the ice ask the people around them to stand up and be big or something like that... that way when you go to throw it it'll be harder to identify the actual person who did it. Yeah, but Al doesn't represent all the ushers that watch over the crowd. The best bet is to do it when everyone is standing up and things are kinda chaotic (ie a goal or a fight or something), and worst case scenario: if you do get caught, you can always ask to let it slide, and by it I mean a $20, and by slide, I mean into his pocket. So hopefully I can find an octopus, pre-boiled, sneak it in the Pepsi Can, hope for a 3rd period goal, and sneak into the lower lever (I have nosebleed seats), and not get lynched by Avs fans. haha. 8 Legged RedWing 367 Report post Posted May 1, 2008 im pretty sure your allowed to bring in cheap brooms arent you? i always see them at other sporting events. even if its away they cant kick you out. but about the octopus, i have seen them thrown on away ice before. now you will probably get kicked out because all the avs fans will rat you out but it would so be worth it. just do it late in the game. if you do make sure its not a TV time out or we wont be able to see it haha.
