Nero 20 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 (edited) 9 - 4 for Detroit in shots on goal and it's 1 - 0 Nashville? Do we need Osgood in here again? I don't care how it went in. Edited March 21, 2008 by Nero

Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 (edited) I know it was a fluke goal, but man. I am really hating Hasek in net. He has nothing, but bad luck. There we have it. Take a picture, folks. someone has OFFICIALLY blamed hasek for something that happened 10 feet away, where he was involved in no way, just him being in net is causing bad juju. I really didn't think people actually thought these kind of things. Wow. Edited March 21, 2008 by Z and D for the C
Nero 20 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 SeeinRed is correct. I do not participate in the so-called "goalie wars". It was a more of a.. deja vu sort of thing.
EuroTwin 240 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 I think he meant in more of an "It's not Dom's night again" type way rather than a "Dom blows" kind of way. And I was just joking... But next time I'll put a disclaimer in front, so I don't confuse anyone or hurt any more feelings That being said, not a great first period, but we've had worse, and we've come back from worse and I'm not going to start freaking out yet... it still might happen, but not yet
12Newf 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 okay just for the people complaining about hasek who may not be watching, the puck hit kronwalls skate and completely changed direction....NO CHANCE FOR HASEK NOT HIS FAULT!

Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 Just got here....and the first thing that I heard was that Stewie's out for the regular season with a broken finger? wtf? I thought the injury bug was gone
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 it will all be fine if the team starts playing before the 50 minute mark, like they did last night. They need to play a whole game once in a while... They will get the one goal back, not worried. Hasek will be fine, too.
Yemack 1 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 puck just went through him like he wasn't even there. sure it was flukey but it was stoppable if he was giving more attention IMO. His style needs alot of concentration and if he can't put himself into the zone, well it's time to change goalie. Nothing against Hasek, but just giving us better chance to win this game

Can you imagine how good this team would be if it played all 60 minutes? puck just went through him like he wasn't even there. sure it was flukey but it was stoppable if he was giving more attention IMO. His style needs alot of concentration and if he can't put himself into the zone, well it's time to change goalie. Nothing against Hasek, but just giving us better chance to win this game I know what you're saying, but on one like that that was supposed to be going across the crease, Hasek starts his slide as soon as the puck heads that way. If he was square to where the pass came from, he probably stops it, but since he was doing what he was supposed to and not anticipating a bad bounce, he really didn't have a chance.
