Guest CaliWingsNut Report post Posted November 1, 2009 (edited) Hate to play grammar police and by no means is my grammar always 100% correct, but this is just a pet peeve of mine... we are all suppose to learn this in the 2nd or 3rd grade, it's the schools responsibility to teach the American people the basics, even if you dropped out of school you should still understand the difference of "your" and "you're". You're = You are /rant. There, fixed it for you. Seriously, though, who gives a rat's ass what Avery or any other hockey player does off ice. It's nobody's business but his. If he, or any other famous person, feels comfortable doing this, why does it matter to anyone else? Judge not, lest ye be judged. I heard that somewhere. People get all up in arms when some celebrity is involved in some kind of scandal. Big fat hairy freakin' deal! I'm willing to bet there are people who post on LGW that have paid to get laid. It's not my business, so I don't care. People think that just because someone is in the spotlight (actors, athletes, singers) they should live a model life. Wrong. Then you obtusely threw out an ellipsis instead of a more certain semi colon. That's weak, dude. Obviously a creature of today's internet and texting culture. Also, difference between is much more correct than difference of. Most significant, however, is the striking fact that that's one long ass rambling sentence you've posted there. You'd be wise to replace some of those commas with periods. The independant sentences would show the seperate but related thoughts you are trying to convey. But speaking of Avery, what I don't understand is why he would pay for a hooker instead of going out with someone who actually likes him for who he is. Simple answer - he isn't looking for a gf, or anything for that matter that requires any sort of time commitment. He isn't paying for sex, he's paying for them to leave after words. On that note, I have to admit -- I am a huge fan of Avery - but with this, a "call girl" had a name in a blackbook -- I really would care less who it was. It ain't my business.
