Boston v. Ottawa, Nashville v. Chicago

Boo-urns to Philly.

Big market team = bigger draw, and better ratings. Philadelphia is definitly a big market.

I could go either way on who I'd rather see in between Carolina or Ottawa. Both teams are really nothing to write home about, and while there are guys I like on both teams (Staal, Wesley, and Brookbank for Carolina, Heatley and McGrattan for Ottawa), I'm indifferent when it comes down to it. Really, as long as Washington and Philly make it, I'm happy.

I'm not complaining. Ever since Ellis went on that shutout streak, Nashville's goaltending has been suspect. Not to mention their offense as well.

At any rate, Nashvlle should be any Wings fans #1 choice for the first time, simply because of distance.

OMG. I totally for some reason thought they should win tonight to face us because I was so use to rooting for those bastards the past three games. They are losing right now which is good not bad!

Chicago is still ahead, about at the half-way point.

I can hear the "Ha-sek" chants already in Nashville. Mind you the Red Wings will be winning by five goals when the fans break it out. Oh yes, "Red Wings Suck" too, which always cracks me up from a franchise that has never won a playoff series.

I can't wait until Thursday night.

McGrattan never plays, i always check to see if he's in to decide whether i want to watch their game. Hell he may be hurt for all i know, ...but i think he's just always a healthy scratch. Screw Ottawa. Im just genuinely thrilled that Philly got in tonight,...ive enjoyed those dirty tough bastards all year!

EWW. Boo Philly.

Awww come on! I know they have Hartnell who you hate, but they have some really likeable guys like Mike Richards. Riley Cote is like an NHL version of Rocky Balboa, Lupul and Carter are pretty cool too! Give these boys a chance

LOL! Or the video replays trashing the city of Detroit. I have been to two games in

Nashville though and Detroit fans always outnumber the Predators.

BTW, What day will game three be played on because I am looking to score tickets?

Ottawa, Boston, and Philly are all in. One of Carolina or Washington will not be in. If Washington wins tomorrow, they are in as the SE division winner. If they lose, Carolina is in as the SE division winner.

We'll see what Washington is really made of tomorrow. They play the Panthers right? I want the Caps in over Carolina, but i have the feeling that its just meant to be that Florida wins both games as the spoiler.

Right now, Carolina is in the 9th spot in the East....Ottawa's in, right?

NHL.com has Carolina listed as 9th, but unless im missing something i think thats a foul up on their part. Carolina right now is leading the division (they have more wins than Wash), Caps need 1 pt in their final game to take the spot as the Hurricanes regular season is complete. Ottawa is in.

Yes, Ottawa is in. Carolina is in the 9th spot because winning percentage is the 1st tie breaker if teams are tied in points (which they are with Washington). However, the Caps play tomorrrow; if they get a point they're in, if they lose in regulation they're out.

Haha, me too. I'd like to see the Flyers and Penguins go at it in a playoff series. Yeah, it is a very overused matchup in the regular season, but in the playoffs, it could be a whole different story. Those two teams hate each other, a lot for that matter, so that means it could be a fight filled series!

Yeah Flyers/Penguins would be great. But that one makes me really nervous about their chances, whereas if they managed to slip into the 6 seed and got the Caps thats one they'd win imo. (and you still got Brashear in that series for the extra curriculars). But im also rooting for Boston, so if they hold that 6 seed down its not exactly a bad thing.
