OsGOD 3 Report post Posted April 7, 2008 (edited) Thier arena has so much energy it is a great time but the fans can be complete assholes. When the schedule comes out we can take a look. I enjoy wearing opposing team jerseys into arenas... bring it on... Yeah as soon as they come out with the exact times I might have 1 other person that would join use... so a small little party but very vocal hehe Edited April 7, 2008 by OsGOD

McCartyFanForLife 17 Report post Posted April 7, 2008 I went to 4 games last year. I'm not going to a game unless we make it to the 3rd round. Way too expensive. 2nd worst economy in the U.S., I doubt we will sell out all the games. Which is ridiculous; it's Hockeytown for goodness sake. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they lowered the prices this year... I'm just not sure it was enough.

You do realize at the third round the prices will be about 300+% higher than they are for the first round. You are right on one thing though, when prices are double for the first round... the reduction of a few buck is still not enough! What was lowered in ticket prices was raised in parking... so its a catch-22 haha

What annoyed me was when I went to Game 1 of the Sharks series last year, there were a TON of empty seats. If they had lowered the ticket prices by 30%, they would have sold out AND made more money overall. Or do some kind of concession stand deal by throwing in a hot dog or pizza or something. There are ways to get fans to the games and barely lowering prices isn't going to do it... I hope I'm wrong

I hope I'm wrong we went to games 1 and 2 against the sharks too... i usually try to go early and then watch the later rounds from the comfort of my own home... drinking cheap(er) beer and hard liquor lol

I must say, being able to drink 3 beers at home for less than the price of 1 beer at the Joe is very nice. Hard to pass that up
jpfalcon09 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2008 Maybe everyone will start to jump off the Tigers bandwagon and hop on the Wings. I don't expect any sellouts for the playoffs, at least in the 1st Round. Prove me wrong, Detroit.
