Vincanni 1 Report post Posted April 6, 2008 I didn't think this deserves it's own thread, but Ian Lappierierre (sp) has entered a new realm of ****** bagness. Overtime ends for the game, and Lappy fights....wait for it...Marian Gaborik. Way to go after the star players of the team Lappy. The sad thing is Gabby held his own. Now Lappy is going to have to deal with Boogard and Simon all series. and BTW I am really glad the Sharks and Flames will be playing each other and not Sharks and Avs. My guess is it was an attempt to "send a message" considering they'll be well acquainted over the next couple weeks. Funny how that game started off as an exhibition no-contact game, then ended with Lappy failing to intimidate Gaborik and as you stated likely just painted a big red bull's eye on his arse.
