Third Man In 2,091 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Ok, while we await the start of the Minny-Avs game: who do you want to win, and who do you think does? I think the Avs close it out tonight on home ice. I can't actively root for Avs, but as long as SJ and Anaheim are both still alive I'd rather have the Avs advance to guarantee the Wings don't have to go through them both. The Avs are probably the easiest potential second round opponent and have the best travel schedule (except Dallas). And admit it, it would be kinda fun for old time's sake. Regardless of what happens in this series, Montreal wont make it passed the next round no matter who they play...with him being the main reason. Just too young and too easily rattled. I've been watching hockey for over 30 years, and the power play they just had (that led to the shorthanded goal) was the worst power play I've ever seen.
