Much better start for the Stars as they already have 3 shots in the 1st 3 mins. They only had 2 in the entire 1st period in Game 1.

Agreed. They're doing a pretty good job of keeping the crowd from getting too involved.

A successful pk certainly helps.

To top off what I was just saying, SJ needs to capitalize here. You know the penalties will start to even out as the game wears on and SJ needs to atleast grab a goal on one of these.

Actually, the first minute of their first penalty they did a good job of moving the puck well and making Turco slide side-to-side in order to come up with saves.

Both teams are playing a lot better then their first game, especially Dallas. I can see Dallas coming away with a win here too, if they stop taking them penalties.

Dallas is very good at holding the puck when they need to. They do a great job of holding the zone simply by not panicking when they're pressured.

No, of course I jinxed it, but I still stand by my statement. SJ's powerplay never looks as dominant as it should considering the personnel they can throw out there. Except against Detroit, who the pick apart like no other team.

If Dallas can get out of this period 1-0, with the PP time the Sharks have had, they will be in pretty solid shape.
