We're in dire need of a lengthy marathon-like OT game, every one thus far has been over generally in the first 5 minutes. This one feels like it has incantations of a triple OT classic, or at least the ingredients.

...It'll likely end 3 minutes in.

So far the longest playoff OT was a 2 OT affair with Philly and Washington.

I feel the need for a 3 or 4 OT epic.

The AHL had a 5 OT game against Philly and Albany

I still remember that one from a few years ago...like 5OT or something between Pittsburgh and Philly?

EDIT: Just looked it up...damn, that was more than a few years ago. Back in May of 2000.

The thing that surprises me, the team that scores first in every game in this series has lost the game. Crazy.
