JayUp88 1 Report post Posted May 8, 2008 When my wife and I were in Detroit, we got this great red t-shirts that have the Winged Wheel on the front with the player's name and number in back. I got Lidstrom and Datsyuk. Almost got Z's, too, but they were two-fers, so I took advantage of the sale and just got the two. I have a Cheli one and a Filppula one.... well I had a Filppula one but my ex has it now......
ZabiOfDetroit 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2008 I'm a BIG red wings fan, so I wear a 4XL. I will make sure to wear my red Red Wings T-shirt and not the grey one. Can't WAIT!!!!!!!!! My first playoff game ever since I became a fan in '97.

tiff_luvs_homer 5 Report post Posted May 9, 2008 some people are wearing them, but it's still not a sea of red like it was in Calgary. Still a cool souvenir nonetheless....

Jwo 7 Report post Posted May 9, 2008 It would be cool too see the crowd divided with Red & White like how Arsenal F.C. did for the last game at Highbury

Shockwave180 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2008 It would be cool too see the crowd divided with Red & White like how Arsenal F.C. did for the last game at Highbury That was sick. One of my favorite sporting events of all time. Amazing color and atmosphere. I'll always remember that game fondly. Anyway, tonight's attempt didn't work nearly as well, but I suppose you can't complain about the overall result.
JayUp88 1 Report post Posted May 9, 2008 It didn't work all that well. Most of the people didn't know they were doing it so they had their white jerseys one. Who wants to take off their $$$ jerseys and hold on tho them the whole game. They should have advertised the crap out of it so people knew that it was going to happen. Anyways, the shirts were all XL so I was swimming in mine.
GoalieManPat 1,007 Report post Posted May 9, 2008 It would be cool too see the crowd divided with Red & White like how Arsenal F.C. did for the last game at Highbury This would only work if 1. People actually wore what was given to them 2. There was a person in every seat.
IceMunkee 15 Report post Posted May 9, 2008 I was at the game and I was frustrated that people were refusing to wear them. Alot of people did and the arena was pretty electric, but when the guys came in and did not wear them cause they were too GQ, it was silly. I guess that is there right, I am sure some around here will say it is a rip off or it is classless. Eww and when people leave 6.30 minutes early I get angry to. Hey it is there right?
