Barry Melrose said on ESPNnews, that Detroit flat out outplayed Dallas. He said they played harder, hit harder and took more shots than Dallas. He said they came out and just seemed to want it more. He closed by saying for Dallas to have a chance Turco has to play the best hockey he has ever played.

If the Stars are going to allow the Wings to set up shop in front of Turco the way they did last night, Turco will have to play the best hockey he has ever played. The Stars talked about clearing the front of the net so Turco can see the puck, and they didn't do it for sh*t last night. I was really surprised to be honest with you.

That being said, look for them to try harder to key in on Homer and Franzen in front of the net and for Z-Dats and Fil-Sammy to come with the cross ice passes to one another if the Stars key too much on Homer and Franzen.

I agree 100%

Turco can stand on his head and stop every shot he SEES!!!!

However if Franzen and Homer (Cleary to a lesser extent) are going to be able to set up in front of Turco he is not going to stop the wings.

Lids and Ralf beat him clean on back to back shots, Lids hit the post, and Ralf buried the shot. Turco had no clue where the puck was, he can't stop what he doesn't see!

I have realized that after much reading of most comentators have no respect for our accomplishments this far and in the near so future...

I am a dedicated viewer of this show its on in canada here is the link:http://www.hardcoresportsradio.com/

The show is Game on these guys tell it how they see it and dont beat around the bush ...If you see stuff in games chances are they do also and review not just hockey but everything in between such as UFC , basketball, foootball etc ...

I personally believe its worth the watch and oh yeah they toss in the occassional "F" bomb but the censor catches those ... <_<

just a thought of insight....

Yeah but he hasn't done that at "The Joe" since he was at Michigan.

Well... that can't go on forever.

If Dallas wants to win they better stop getting penalties because with Detroits shots from the point and Homer/Stein's set-up the power play is unstoppable. Yesterday we were 3 for 7 on the PP.

Yeah I heard it coming down the street after the Colorado sweep - the Bandwagon that is. I guess us year round fans have to move over because everybody seems to be jumping on....
