So here we are again the Stanley Cup finals! HOOORAY!!!

We (EastLansingNative and I) want to see you RWNW!!!!!

What: Game 4 Saturday, May 31st

Arrive: 4:30 pm (PST)

Game time: 5pm *it will be in HD as well!!

Location: Huntington Beach, CA

I am having surgery on May 22nd so I'll be on the couch so the menu will include ordering pizzas, chips and dips with everyone pitching in for it as I can't do it all this time! SO hopefully you all will understand!

We will try to be there, but it's the first night of adult league for me that night. As captain, I have to show up and make sure everyone is paid up and the roster is finalized and whatnot. So it will depend on the time of my game. I'm gonna try to find a sitter though, just in case.

Well much as I'd love to be there I'm actually trying to arrange a trip if it goes beyond game 4 ... but few small logistical things like , no time off work (may have to go sick) , no tickets and well errr no passport at the moment as I had to renew it recently and it hasn't come back yet....let's just say it will be a game time decision over the next week....anyways have fun and take care

Game day Jammies

Al the Octopus cake (this was the back up cake as the red velvet didn't sit in the original octopus cake mold I had Thank god the bakery I called at 8am on Saturday morning came through! I had to describe this over the phone lol

A close up - see the tentacles. (My mom picked this up for me as it was ready at 4pm PST (I made her check to see if the octopus had 8 legs and if it didn't she was going to request that it be fixed can't have a Red Wing Nation West party with a less than 8 legged octopus!!!

It was a great great time and the turn out was the best we have had so far! Amazing Job RWNW I'm so proud!

Everyone left with a complimentary Yzerman Stanley Cup Magnet (either from 97 or 98). I had these made (my mom actually had the idea and she made them) when I was going to throw the Yzerman Retirement Ceremony.

Thanks everyone for coming! It was great to have you all here and I can't wait until our next gathering!
