sixer 37 Report post Posted May 21, 2008 Stupid question guys, I read on ticketmaster that cameras are not allowed in Joe Louis for Wings games? Is this correct guys? Has this changed recently?
C-Dub 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2008 I think in general most sport venues don't allow video cameras AND still cameras with wide-zoom (or whatever the heck they are called) lenses. In most cases you ought to be able to bring the usual consumer-type cameras in. Not that I have ever been to JLA.

Gizmo 21 Report post Posted May 21, 2008 If you bring in a point-n-shoot, they won't give it a second thought. If you bring in a SLR, about 1/2 the time they will actually look at the lens to see if it's under 80mm.
DaKineMaui 8 Report post Posted May 21, 2008 I believe you can bring in a Super8 video camera, but if you wanna go on the ice and get some live action they ask that you stay out of the players way in the offensive zone. Try and keep youself on the other side of the blueline is all. Or maybe stand on top of the net? I forget. Double-check first.
