Sid has never put up the kind of defensive performance Datsyuk has. Also, consider the people Datsyuk was playing with his rookie year. (Crosby would still outscore him, but he's not having to compete for ice time/goals with the caliber of veteran talent Dats did) We'll see what sort of numbers Crosby is putting up when he's older.
