Biggest Positive: Only Down 1 and we havent played close to what we are capable of, even if we can get it to OT I see it being to much for the pens to deal with after being up 2.

Lets do what we do Wings.

I don't know about you guys, btu that was a much better finish by the Wings. They keep playing like that and they'll win this game. Pittsburgh looks vulnerable again. Keep generating those rushes and carrying the puck in.

Oh boy, 2nd Intermission. Crosby part 2?

Wow...."2 of the greatest players are in the building tonight: Crosby and......Ovechkin?"

What the hell? They've totally ignored the Wings tonight. Which is hard to do considering they're playing tonight.

Pittsburgh got a MONSTROUS break with that missed double-minor call on Staal. Amazing.

After a good start it appeared the Red Wings sat back a bit as Pittsburgh built off a couple of solid shifts that resulted in the lead. Make no bones about it, Pittsburgh is being far more aggressive in this game and it's resulting in some brainfarts and unforced errors.

I'm not seeing the same effort to finish checks and outwork the Penguins in corners so far in this game, consistently, anyway. It's been there for flashes but not nearly consistent enough.

Need to keep going hard to the net and stop trying to overthink the shots on net -- just get it on net. The loose pucks and rebounds are there.

Seeing some of the same problems that plagued the Wings at times vs. Nashville and Dallas: getting hemmed into their own zone and not making smart plays to clear the zone.

Definitely room for improvement and overall the Red Wings aren't getting vastly outplayed here. Tighten up defensively and ramp up the aggressiveness and they'll be fine.

Sammy has been invisible tonight, and Cleary hasn't had his best game. Still we are only down by one after playing a pretty bad period of hockey. Time to turn on the juice and end this thing.

You must be mistaken. His high holiness Crosby would never do something like that.

Now I must go frolicking through a field of daisies with Chris Pronger. He loves flowers and puppies.

Dude, I'm crying laughing!!!

I liked our chances after Franzen's awesome PP goal. Though, Lillypads and Stuart need to stop giving up the puck. Osgood has been awesome. He's been keeping us in it even if our D hasn't.

Can't wait to see how Drapes repays Crosby for that slash.

LETS GO WINGS!!!

They've been guilty with playing tentative out there for long stretches, for sure. Hopefully the "using a series lead as a crutch" isn't the case again.

One telltale sign is that the Pens are outshooting us. Sure, it's only 19-18, but that's a big change from the first two games.
