Zion 93 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 I am sorry that I was ready to hang up my jersey after regulation in game 5 against the Neckville Predators. What a great team effort. Staying healthy was the key. I am proud to say my son will be born in a year the Wings won the Stanley Cup. How great is that?
maltbymaniac 13 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 i appoligize to no one cause i havent complained about anything. i take what we got and roll with it as always. i see no need to bash players as we cant have all superstars.they wouldnt be here in the first place if they sucked and were lazy that bad. FireCaptain 563 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 I would like to say sorry to my best friend Aaron for not taking him to playoff games that I went too. Instead I went with my Girlfriend who bought the tickets and wouldn't give up her seat :starwars2: That's marriage material right there.
FireCaptain 563 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 I'm sorry that the Wings couldn't win it on 6/2 since that was my wedding anniversary. I'm also sorry some REALLY poor sport in Pittsburgh shouted, "f*** the Wings, CHEATERS!" during the after game celebration. I had to rewind the DVR twice since I couldn't believe what I was hearing. If only Stanley weren't such a weird name for a girl.... hmmmm....
selkie 10 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 I think Stanislava is a legit girls' name in some Eastern European countries.
bringback91 2 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 Doubted Hudler's ability in the playoffs, was pretty hard on him sometimes throughout the season but still pulled for him to do well. Great job. This was truly a fine team effort, led by dats,z,and lids like it should be with everyone doing their part, pulling their weight so much so it'll make for a LONG post to mention everyone, but for all the Sammy bashers there's no denying he was HUGE in the finals. One of the biggest smiles of the night I had was seeing the "pain train" looking like king kong carrying around the Cup! hahahha Way to go fellas!
ifonlyicouldskate 11 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 That's marriage material right there. You may be right. She took me to numerous games this year. She just might be a keeper.
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 I always had faith in this team and in Ozzie in general so I don't have apologies that way....BUT....I didn't think we'd win this year with all the injuries and with no secondary scoring pickup at the deadline...so I will apologize for doubting Ken Holland and for doubting the Wings via injuries. The only Red Wing I think I criticized and said would prohibit us from getting the Cup got pulled and put on the bench so I still think I was right about that. I didn't think Chelios was that bad.
