Hey, the day after the wings won the stanley cup i was driving to wisconsin and when i was listening to the radio i heard a mix they made on 1270/97.1 that was Journey's "Don't stop believing" mixed with Ken Daniels calls early in game six and then finally Ken Kal's call when the wings win the cup. I have been trying to find this online for a while to no success. Anyone know where i can find this because it is an awesome mix.

Send 97.1 an e-mail or just call them. They are pretty good about helping out their fans. I know what song you're talking about. I love the Ticket.

do you know their email address?

The Morning Show on 97.1 The Ticket is the program that did the audio clip you mention. Jay and Bill are the hosts and here is their address : jay.towers@cbsradio.com <jay.towers@cbsradio.com>

The way that guy says scores bothers me.

Ken Daniels (in the Journey clip - he called the last game, minus the last 30 seconds)? or Ken Kal (regular Wings radio guy)?

Having XM, I get to listen to most of the leagues radio guys at least once during the regular season. Ken Kal is one of the better ones (IMO). The guys in Calgary, Montreal and Edmonton are really good. Some of the worst: Nashville (unlistenable), Carolina and most definetely Pitt. How many DUMB sayings can one guy honestly expect his listeners to bear? He's almost as bad as the Yankees PBP guy.

I love it. Ken Kal sounded so funny the last 13 seconds it still gives me chills listining to it. I remember Ken Daniels making a comment about calling a Stanley Cup winning game so thats so cool that he got that honor.
