At first I wasn't sure, but after listening to the clip in the official site, it's "my writing short now"

I heard "My reign is short now" as well, but I thought it was in reference to how much time he spent on stage compared to everyone else who won. Pav definitely had some short speeches. Funny as hell, but short.

I've listened to it over and over and I hear, "My reign is sure now." But it's quite hard to decipher, reign could be something else.

I can't make it out to be 'My english is shorter now' as people seem to hear. I think the second word he says is to short to be 'english' and I don't hear the 't' or 'er' in short and shorter. Less likely shorter than short, imo. But that might have more to do with the sound quality (And my hearing perhaps).

What I heard was Pav stumbling with his words while trying to make a joke. If you take into account his poor english and his previous comments, it sounds more to me like 'my english shorter now' more than anything.

Also, why the would he make any reference to a reign? That just doesn't make any sense. Even if it was some sort of joke, there was no context for it.

No but he played more physically and picked up a roughing minor or two. If that's what he said, obviously it was just a joke, but I'll be he has a few more PIM next year. Nothing huge, just a few more probably.
