SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted July 1, 2008 Heck if Bertuzzi was willing to accept a pay cut and a lesser role on this team, 3rd line perhaps and some 2nd line power play time, I'd be open to bringing him back. He's not the power forward he was during the Vancouver days but he still put up decent numbers in Anaheim last year, though probably not justifiable for a $4M contract, hence taking a bit of a pay cut/lesser role. He'll definitely be getting less that 4M; he was passed up on waivers for that amount. If he gets higher than 3M from anywhere (Tampa Bay doesn't count) I will be surprised.
