These are some decent veteran UFA forwards still available that I wouldn't mind seeing wear the winged wheel, whaddya think? most would only require a 1-2 year deal most likely. bobby holik (playoff veteran, strong on the puck, another big body, better than bert IMO) mark recchi (can still burry it and also has good playoff experience) owen nolan (always had a good shot, could use on the PP) michael peca (still has some wheels, good faceoffs, strong 2-way player) brian smolinski (a little lower end but still a good player) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Kenny tried to aqquire him at the 06-07 trade deadline but he Owen vetoed the trade due to his wife being pregnant at the time and not wishing to put stress under her. The fact that Kenny didnt try to sign him as a FA last offseason indicates to me that either Kenny dosent want him or Owen dosent want to come here.
