Wonder what they have in store for the team. They couldn't have just wanted to get rrid of Bernier for picks and not have something bigger coming. He was the centerpiece in the Campbell trade. BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted July 4, 2008 I was going to open this and immediately say "stupid move by Los Angelas" because I thought it was LA trading Jonathan Bernier.

Lol I thought the same thing. I was like Vancouver trading for a goalie prospect? For a second I thought that meant they were going into rebuilding mode and were gonna shop Luongo. That'd be crazy. Yak19 303 Report post Posted July 5, 2008 I thought Ersberg was amazing for LA in that last quarter of the season, Ersberg #1 and Bernier as the backup, thats a good pair of goalies for the KIngs
Guest Four Report post Posted July 7, 2008 Bernier is a decent player - 3 points in his debut with the Sabers (2 goals, 1 assist). The Cannucks need him.

He is an alright winger, could be something more but as of right now meh!
