high_stick69 7 Report post Posted July 12, 2008 Remember how everyone was calling Hullie "the stay pufft marshmallow man" when he was dominating those nachos from the press box during the Dallas series? I was at a day of the practice rounds for the Lake Tahoe Celebrity Golf tourney and Hullie didn't appear to be the Roseanne Barr the camera made him out to be during the playoffs. Maybe he's on a diet. He also signed each and every autograph of every kid that surrounded him between holes. Talk about a class act! He was nothing like the "I'm not signing, leave me and my ego alone" Mike Jordan, who was like Will Farrell with a dart in his neck, pushing kids out of the way to fall in the pool in Old School (or get to the next hole in Mike's case)

55fan 5,133 Report post Posted July 12, 2008 It may be a relative thing, but I'll take Clement-Hull-Ferarro over what they've got now. They may not have been the best ever assembled, but at least none of them set my hair on edge.

They may not have been the best ever assembled, but at least none of them set my hair on edge. The best assembled would be Clement, Don Cherry, and Hull, for nbc anyways. NO WAY. Jordan doesn't sign autographs? That's just plain wrong. Good fer Brett though. I remember getting the big snub from Mike Weir before his PRACTICE ROUND at the PRACTICE RANGE over here in Kapalua before the Mercedes. Tried flagging him down AFTER he was done hitting, he made eye contact and kept on 'awalking. How many people on the West side of Maui wore their authentic Team Canada sweater to get an autograph in the sun in 85 degree heat from some Canadian golfer? Yeah - about one. *******. aloha? Brett Hull was playing for St. Louis then and was suppose to come in one day along with Cujo, and i forget the others. Anyways everyone came in, but Brett. He stiffed all the kids. Yes, real classy! WingNut 25 5 Report post Posted July 12, 2008 Don Cherry is awful and should be put out to pasture. Hull was great on NBC and so is Messier. Pierre Maguire and Mike Milbury make their broadcasts damn near unwatchable. And it is a well known fact that Jordan doesn't sign.
