FLWINGSFAN4013 5 Report post Posted July 18, 2008 (edited) let these guys go, should put clause in players contracts that if they want to go to different leagues then they should be on the hook to pay what their under contract for...make them buy the remainder contract out, would not really want someone who says i dont want to play for you and now have them come back bc they have to Edited July 18, 2008 by FLWINGSFAN4013

Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted July 18, 2008 I wonder who Radulov will be traded to? I imagine the situation in Nashville would be rather unfriendly when he comes back... Obviously the Wings won't get a division rival's player, but maybe the Leafs will nab him. He's a young, dynamic player- just the sort of kid Fletcher's looking for. Plus the Nashville management might look at it as a little bit of the old payback for jumping ship on them
Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted July 18, 2008 How can the IIHL suspend players? What's to stop the KHL from letting radulov to palyer or something? (don't mean to sound like sirdrake...)

I don't think there's anything they can do to force Radulov to play in the NHL. That would be between the KHL and NHL.
GMRwings1983 8,804 Report post Posted July 18, 2008 We need to go after Fedor Fedorov. That would please the people who want Fedorov on this team, and not disappoint those who are still angry at Sergei for leaving. Ingenious isn't it?

It's an individual punishment. The IIHF can block you from all international tournaments like the world championships and olympics not to mention the smaller Euro tournaments... So, on top of the 2.33 mil. a year, Radulov also gets some extra vacation? Those IIHF bastards! Edited July 18, 2008 by sibiriak

Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted July 19, 2008 Jason Krog has been beating around the bush his entire career. I wonder if the contract he signed with Vancouver was an actual NHL contract, or just another trip to the minors (which is where he's best).
