sjradio 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2008 NHL network has been showing games from the 2007 and 2008 playoffs all summer. The 2008 Wings vs. Colorado series is being played throughout the next week or so. As well as the Wings vs. Sharks series from 2007. www.nhlnetwork.tv should have the schedule
GMRwings1983 8,804 Report post Posted August 13, 2008 I wouldn't mind watching that 8-2 elimination game one more time. My favorite part was when the divealanche scored late to make it 8-2, and their fans stood up for a loud ovation. That was classic.

It's fun wathching it a 2nd time around, You get to soak in the mistakes and the goodies that happend. I didn't realize how complete of players, Flipper/Franzen are. Which reminds me, game 3 is where Floppa made his triumphant return to the adulation of thousands of dumbass divealanche fans. His greatest move in the game was the penalty against Sammy. I can't wait to see that again. It's the last time we'll hopefully have to see that tool play.

You've got...... .....issues Anyways, I was lucky enough to get home early enough to catch game 2 and did most of my laundry to the game. I say that was the best game of the playoffs because I made a long trip to attend that game live. My first (and probably my last) playoff game I have attended. And if you didn't enjoy his contributions to game 3, there's something wrong with you. Watch it again, and tell me that it isn't funny to see the way their fans went crazy each time he touched the puck. They actually thought that gimp was going to make a difference despite their weak goaltending and their loser coach. It was hilarious.

You're insane, Forsberg might have been their best player in every game that he skated during that series despite playing on one leg.

Zion 93 Report post Posted August 13, 2008 NHL Network is the s.... ... yeah, Chelios had a really bad playoffs after the Nashville series. He's just a little too slow now, unfortunately, the high tempo that the Wings are bringing against the Dives is very exciting. Fast and physical. Very noticeable difference from this year's team and last year's.
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted August 13, 2008 Well, I *thought* I had NHL Network...apparently I only have it when I have NHL Center Ice active (which is impossible during the summer, of course). And I ain't paying an extra $5.95 to get some 'Sports Pak' when I'll get it included with Center Ice in October. Blargh...
