Rome replacement

Does anybody remember when Jim Rome had a replacement who said he wouldn't even talk hockey? It was maybe a month or two or three weeks ago. Somebody posted it. If not in this forum then in another. I'd like to know who that was.

I searched this site, but couldn't find it.

So if somebody remembers who that was who said that, could you please let me know? Or if somebody can find that thread, that would be appreciated too.

I know Jay Mohr fills in for him on occasion, and did so recently, but I'm not sure if he said that or not.

Jay Mohr the actor? I don't think it was him.

It's something like Andrew Sicilliano would say, but I don't know for sure. He's said something like that on his night show before. I e-mailed him about it last fall.

Cant really blame anyone who would say that... cause if i was given reigns of a show i wouldn't talk basketball, baseball or football becaue i can't stand those sports.. so who am I to pass judgement on someone not willing to talk about hockey.

There's a reason espn is the worst channel in America. Comments like that are part of the reason why. Their analysts hate hockey and soccer because they aren't American sports. Pure idiocy.

I almost never watch ESPN anymore. No hockey. No MMA. All Yankees, Red Sox, Patriots, Kobe Bryant, college football/basketball. Zero interest.

I can and do pass judgement.

I've limited my ESPN viewing because of its anti-hockey bias.

I won't listen to a Andrew Siciliano program again - either his own or as Rome's scab.

What started this thread in the first place was Rome's replacement, Jason Whitlock, on Monday.

He was going on and on about how college basketball was lame and so much inferior to college American football. Then about how much he was geeked up about the NFL starting. This was in the span of like 30 to 45 seconds.

And I was like, "well I'm not." Bye, bye WNDE, hello XL950.

Then later I was like, "well maybe I was too hasty." So back to WNDE.

Whitlock then says, "nobody knows as much about (American) football than me."

And I was like, "you pompous ass." Bye, bye WNDE, hello XL950.

I usually give Hoosiers the benefit of the doubt, but Whitlock is an asshat.
