Proud 2 B a Wings Fan 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2008 I think this may spell the end for Wellwood. When the Leafs and the Canucks haven't got a spot for You on their roster You're in trouble

Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted October 18, 2008 Wellwoods lazy play, and no interest in exercise attitude ruined it for him. When I watched him in St John's, I thought he'd be the guy to change the Leafs. Then he changed when he reached the show, and now he's done.
P. Marlowe 748 Report post Posted October 18, 2008 It's hard to believe that in 2006-07 Waiverwood scored 42 points in 48 games.
34Legace34 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2008 Unless your talking about the all star game or the olympics, Wellwood is among the most talented players every time he steps on the ice, hands down. His natural ability is so far ahead of alot of guys. it sucks to see him get released. Everything was pointing towards a solid NHL career, he made junior hockey look easy. Has an OHL scoring title, was one of the best Canadian world Juniors, Scored 5 goals in an AHL game..etc etc.. Hopefully he can get his career back on track... its just hard to see any team giving him a chance though, one of the problems is that he seems to HATE working out.
