55fan 5,133 Report post Posted March 3, 2010 I detest them with every fibre of my being. I refuse to be in the room when they are on. Homer's voice is worse than nails on the chalkboard (for those of you old enough to remember chalkboards). I do not like them. The person below me has trouble typing when they first wake up. puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted March 7, 2010 Not so much but I love the almond chicken at a local place here. The person below me has had a good day today. Hot and sour soup is the best... I had a great day today, thank you! I paid all my bills, and cleaned my house and stuff, and the Wings won. I am thankful that I can pay my bills through careful juggling of funds, that I still have a house, and of course -- I love my Wings, win or lose. Now I am cooking... it's therapy for me. Fresh basil/garlic chicken pizza, anyone? The person below me was a bit concerned that the Hawks/NBC would beat our Wings today.

55fan 5,133 Report post Posted March 8, 2010 That doesn't worry me a bit. The person below me cringes on the high notes of "Unchained Melody".
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted March 8, 2010 I have no idea what that song is so I don't know. The person below me is ready to kick some rear end and have a productive day to start the week off.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted March 8, 2010 (edited) Oh, goodness, no. The only rear end around here that's getting kicked is mine. This stupid cold is back and now is in my chest. I haven't had a smoke in 3 weeks and I'm still hacking up crap. Plus the fever/chills are back. Nope, no butt kicking here. ("Unchained Melody" is the one that goes "Oh, my love, my darling, I hunger for your touch" and the note I cringe on is when they sing "I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed your love. IIIIIII neeeeeeed your love". It's actually a pretty song otherwise.) Anyway, the person below me knows someone who is much taller or shorter than average. puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted March 8, 2010 Anyway, the person below me knows someone who is much taller or shorter than average. "I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeed to go back to bed...." Happy Moanday, all. No, I am decidely average here... I think 5'5" is average anyway. If I were taller, I would be less overweight, though. Just a thought. The person below me ate breakfast today. Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted March 8, 2010 10 egg whites, oatmeal, fish oil, multi. Check. The person below me mainly uses a laptop for posting on LGW.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted March 8, 2010 I use my laptop for everything. I do have an old desktop of my sister's, but it has functions that don't work (like you can't put in a disc), so it is my backup for everything. It's not connected to the internet, so it won't get viruses or anything. If the laptop should die, it could connect and fill in until I get a new laptop, but I'd be very careful. I have over 1000 hockey pics. The person below me can't get through a sentence without making a typo.
