It's pretty ridiculous considering not even their accomplishment last year, but the fact that they are 7-1-2 *this* year. Why is that so hard to get through your thick ******* skull? We are an elite team coming off of a league championship, and yet for some reason, it's "stupid" to predict said team to win. Perhaps you've been led to believe we are a mediocre team judging by our often sub-par play as of late, but if you really think that below average play will continue for the remainder of the season, you are a complete and utter moron. *To you*, but plenty of hockey players don't agree. Its very much a part of sports whether you think its ridiculous or not. I know several athletes on a very personal level, and none of them have ever paid the slightest bit of attention to superstitions, and yes, a good number of said athletes are professional hockey players. I won't name names unless you ask me to, because I'm not one for name drops, but the whole superstition and sports connection has been blown so far out of proportion it is unbelievable. Oh and while we are at it lets just play the what if game... what if we lost all the games??? our record would be 0-10-0... Boy we sure do suck now...
