Icesurfer 75 Report post Posted November 8, 2008 Even if Nabokov is out 6 weeks the Sharks will still make the playoffs..... not only that but I think it actually helps a goalie to have some time off in the beginning of the season......4 weeks is not bad..... that makes the season shorter for him and he won't be tired come May. Take a look at what Franzen did with about 4 weeks off in the beginning of last year..... he was just warming up in Jan and Feb and then went on a tear.
