Datsyuk also rocked Phaneuf the last time we played Calgary. Luckily for him, the boards held him up or he was going down. The Calgary announcers "And Phaneuf is hit hard by Datsyuk of all people." Pav is one solid little dude and this is another reason why he is one of the most all-around-skilled players in the world.

Since that Boston game was probably the worst we've played all season, I decided to watch for other things in it than how we were playing.

Datsyuk kept going after Chara (and vice versa) the entire game, and all but one of the times, Datsyuk got leveled. Determination baby.

I don't know if anyone else saw this, but I saw in an interview where he attributes the rise in his hitting game to Dallas Drake joining the team. He spoke as if it were plain logic. Something like: "I never know how hit. Dallas Drake join the team. He show me how to hit. Now I hit."

Haha, it was hilarious. As if nothings impossible for him. He just had to be shown.

And thats why we should trade half our team for Dustin Brown.

But seriously, this team needs a veteran hitter on the squad. Someone hungry and physical. As time passes, more and more seems to come out about the impact Drake had on this team. I hope to god Holland comes up with something by the deadline. Trade Kopecky or Lebda's sorry asses for a Drakian presence on the 4th line.
