not quite as boring as I thought it would be. Between headshots into the boards, Canuck player delivered a hit after leaving his feet about eighteen inches off the ice. Crazy fighting and penalty filled game.

And whats funny is the guys calling the game on the Canucks feed on tv, were like "I dont think he left his feet, well maybe a little bit." Burrows was like airborn. The third period has been pretty calm.

Trotz was pissed after the game, and rightfully so. The Burrows hit was dirty in my opinon.

looked more shoulder to shoulder. the only reason that his head hit was the impact whiplash...just what i see. if you stop it at 43 sec in the video from TSN.

As much as I dont like Nashville, Arnott had every right to be pissed. Vancouver played a dirty game, and Burrows was practically a foot off the ground. NHL officiating continues to fail at an alarming rate.

Vancouver loses a few games in a row and decides the best way to handle that is to goon it up? they must be taking a play from the Calgary/Edmonton book.

I'm not sure how it's even debatable, did Burrows miraculously go from being 3" shorter than Arnott to 6" taller immediately before impact? He left his feet like a ***** and should have been penalized.

ok but so should kronwall be suspended for all of his hits last year that he left his skates...he didn't hit his head so it just seems a little worse then it was just because he left his skates.

At first I thought it was a Kronwall special, where most of the air is after the hit. But he clearly leaves his feet, and has his elbows up in the face. Dirty hit. How did this not get a penalty??

Kronwall's hits and then he becomes airborne AFTER the hit. He doesn't leave his feet beforehand. If he did, he sure as hell would have had penalties called on him (ala Homer goalie interference).

The refs obviously botched this one, don't look at the dumb tsn replays, theres another replay out there that shows him off his feet waay before he hits dumont

Indeed. And Draper's face wasn't even bloodied. Stupid arena maintenance workers painted the boards either just before the game started or during the intermission. That was a great acting job by Drapes.
