CanadaBoy 151 Report post Posted January 1, 2009 I think Pasha's goal has a chance to stay up there in the top 10 up until December. That's what I call a beauty!

Blueliner 69 Report post Posted January 1, 2009 Nope, Eddie O said it was wind-aided. I think it was Pierre that said it. But wouldn't it help the defensemen get back faster too??
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted January 1, 2009 Top 10 goals of 2009 already? Well, there's only been 10 goals scored so far in 2009, so they all would have had to scored this afternoon.

pjgj13 30 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 Nope, Eddie O said it was wind-aided. If Eddie said it, it must be true. Why is this assclown an announcer?
egroen 384 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 After that Datsyuk goal, I commented to my wife, "That was a $7 million defender and a 3rd overall draft pick Datsyuk just made look like pylons."
elriqo28 2 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 Nope, Eddie O said it was wind-aided. damn that coordinated wind that only blows on wings players...its making the wings look like a bunch of cheaters!

BlackhawksFan 4 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 To take nothing away from Datsyuk's immense skill, the goal was also somewhat aided by the fact that he was facing Cam Barker and Brian Campbell. They wouldn't know defense if it came and bit them in the ass.

dicksmack 33 Report post Posted January 3, 2009 I think it was Pierre that said it. But wouldn't it help the defensemen get back faster too?? Well that pretty much seals it for Pierre... If you doubted his IQ or homerism for all things hockey Canada, this little gem quickly dissolves it... Would he have said that if Toews had scored a goal like that to break the tie? Not in a million years would he suggest the wind "pushed him through the defence" That is the most absurd example of unprofessional sports reporting I've ever heard.
