Detroit offer to Oilers, Roloson to Detroit for a 3rd rounder

Roloson for a 3rd round draftpick in the 09 draft, would detroit reach the WCF it turns into a 2nd rounder for edmonton and if they reach the SCF it's a 1st rounder...

Just a wild rumour, but what do you think of it... i wouldnt wanna give up a 1st rounder

Read it on a forum, ive requested for them to post the source.. as i said its very unlikely and kind of insane rumour if you ask me

Rumour came off hfboards from a guy who's working within oilers "Bob Stauffer"

And i see now that he would not fit within the cap unless a trade was made.

I cant really see why Detroit would do this, especially considering both Osgood and Conklin have been playing great the last few games.. I cant see any reason to trade for a 3rd goalie who is arguabley worse than either of the goalies we already have..

I heard the rumor last night here on the radio also and he said he heard this from a reliable source that is in tight with Detroit. I do not believe that this will happen, although they are also looking for puck moving defencemen also.

In his prime, he really wasn't. He was always putting his team in position to win. Towards the end of his career as his athleticism started to wane, he was very inconsistent.
