Carman 387 Report post Posted February 19, 2009 Hate the media, not the player. Gretzky, Yzerman, Lemieux all complained to the refs. Part of hockey, especially when you are especially skilled and get a lot of attention on the ice. There aren't a lot of players out there that get as much attention on the ice then Crosby, and he is still racking up the points. Crosby is a excellent player. Granted he is overexposed by a lot, you shouldn't blame the kid for that, he has been followed around by the media since he was 14, I'm surprised he isn't cockier then he shows now. You really think Iggy is over-rated? I think he is an incredible player and leader and has earned everything he's gotten. Don't forget he play's for Calgary and has had few surrounding players to help him yet he consistently puts up great numbers. he is a fantastic Power forward IMO. You would not get a 90%+ yes vote for Steve Ott on team Canada just to clarify. Crosby did not admit defeat even though he was over matched and pretty much handled in the SCF. I can see you are getting butthurt and i realize that this is a sign of a spazzy, as i do not wish for anyone to suffer an aneurysm over the inninets this will be my last response to you. Those players said what they said because of Crosby's on ice antics and he won't respond because they are right, you think those players are out to get him? Please! He earned those remarks. About the SCF, when it was all said and done Crosby gave no credit to the other team, he said nothing about the players being good, he said they did what anyone else would have, then why didn't everyone else do that Cindy?
