Crymson should have been more clear in naming the title of the thread, imho. i think that's all 11&c was trying to say at first. someone poked him in the eye with a sharp stick and once blood was drawn folks dog-piled. 11&c shouldn't have started name calling and swearing, but others could have handled it much differently, too. i'm glad i mostly get ignored. OsGOD 3 Report post Posted March 5, 2009 (edited) I think a lot of the short fuses of the "regular ol' timers" here is a direct result to n00bs like eleven here that come in with their fingers blazin... More often than not the new wave of members have been geared towards the hot head arguementary types... Granted there are a lot of new members that are nice, but really a majority don't necessarily understand the meaning of "first impressions" As example being your second post calling a long time member a dumbass... my first impression is dick... and he/she didn't let me down with each subsequent post they made in here. SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted March 6, 2009 While it is impossible to ever play a "perfect" game, technically speaking, this one was as good as it gets in terms of a dominating win. Osgood played solid and got a shutout. There was physical play that the Red Wings initated at some. Great penalty killing esp. on a 4:00 penalty which set a tone early (along with a fight). The offense slowly plugged and chugged away at the Blues goalie who was playing fairly well. Wings then eventually took them to school. Was as good of a game as you can request with a little bit of everything in a butt-kicking win. Not sure why there are complaints aobut this win. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
