skacore 2 Report post Posted March 5, 2009 IMO, we must be watching different games, because aside from him hitting and being a piss ant, he also over-committed on the Avs goal and then got caught holding the puck too long in the d-zone. Then, instead of getting his head into the game he got into a verbal scuffle. I'm all for Downey playing aggressive, but I'd like him to be a little more intelligent at the same time. that is how Downey gets himself into the game, scrums and verbal scuffles I wouldn't say he was out of position on the goal... he was in the lane and went down for the shot block..
