Detroit has played two and a half minutes since pulling Osgood and Conklin has seen one shot, and they score a goal and have spent most of the time in the offensive zone. Glad to see the team felt the need to start actually playing once the goalie was pulled.

Weird s*** happens subconsiously to a team who has absolutely zero confidence in their goaltender.

The same can be said with an offensive line and a quarterback. If they don't like, respect or trust him -- well, god help him.

And yeah... pretty much just a fact, the team just can't play in front of Osgood. When Conklin gets the start, it's like a brand new team playing in front of him (not always, just usually). Ozzie's got to step it up (for more than those, what, 2 games?) to get the team to build their trust in him. But I just don't see how it can happen when we stink it up in front of him so hard from the get go. What a mess.
