Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted March 24, 2009 Whats to stop Chris Chelios from falling so much that the refs are forced to call a penalty, and when he comes out of the box he gets a lead pass from Zetterberg for a breakaway, but skates slow intentionally so the defensman can catch up, at which point he falls again to draw the penalty shot, then just rips it from the half line and scores top shelf because he can? stormboy 47 Report post Posted March 24, 2009 No one would be falling down if we had and ENFORCER on the team. so you're saying the ice will never allow our players to fall for fear of a downey retribution? BRILLIANT!!! personally i'm going to have to disagree with the slippery/gravity AND enforcer arguments and say that the reason that so many of our players are falling down is because obama was elected president so clearly crosby is his secret lover and all of north america is going to hell--ice at the hockey arenas first and foremost. Chunkylover 26 Report post Posted March 24, 2009 I deny that there is a problem with Detroit players falling down. Once the playoffs start they'll flip a switch and automatically be able to stay on their skates.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted March 24, 2009 Ken Holland's fault. He didn't trade to get us a stand-up goaltender... ...or stand-up skaters. Don't quit your day jobs, boys. You'll never be stand-up comedians.
