Outsider 42 Report post Posted April 6, 2009 Aw gee, no votes for...who was that guy...oh yeah, Igor Grigorenko. *Sarcasm in a big way* I'd love to see Pasha get to the 100 point mark...he's been flirting with it now for a couple years. I think this is the year he finally cracks it. Four games, five points, why not??? And almost a career point a game average. I know players who would kill for that. That would just be gravy, Kira. Nothing more than icing on the cake. Fact of the matter is, when Baby Jebus grows up..... He wants to be Pavel Datsyuk. The man is, quite simply,....(what's the description I read earlier today....summed it up perfectly)..... Ah. Yes. Incandescent. That was it. The man is incandescent. What a Player. YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted April 6, 2009 Doable, it's probably 40/60 right now. Kinda sad that there might only be 3, 100 pt scorers this year, basically the same as last year, even though last year there were only 2, but Crosby was on pace for 110pts. Anyone think we're slowing creeping back to low scoring times? Only 2 years ago, there were 7, 100pt scorers. We're also down to 1, 50 goal scorer....sad. 2006-2007 = 173 players with 40+ points 2008-2009 = 173 players with 40+ points, with 9 guys sitting at 39 points and another 9 sitting at 38 with most guys with 3-5 more games to play. I'd say the scoring is merely more spread out than it has been in years past. Chalk it up to the parity between teams' talent this season.

55fan 5,133 Report post Posted April 6, 2009 The four remaining games are against Buf, Nas, and 2 against Chi. He needs 5 points. I think that he could do that in the games against Chicago alone. He will likely get in on some action against Buffalo, so I'll pencil him in for 1 point there. I won't say that Nashville has our number, but we do tend to underestimate them and we don't come out on fire. I don't think the next game will be any different, so I'll pencil him in for no points that game. This is not a condemnation of Pasha. He brings it no matter who his opponent is. I'm just saying he won't get the chances he would get if the rest of the team was playing up to snuff. Chicago seems to be the team we get up for this year. I see no problem with him getting 2 points per game against them. I am optimistic on his chances of cracking 100 this year.

superstarsingh 23 Report post Posted April 6, 2009 I do not think he will be able to get to 100. But I cannot speak enough about his value to the Red Wings. Dats is a monster, he is great at every aspect of the game. I think he should be in line for a second Selke.
