I hate the ******* SUCKS!

Most classless group out there.

Must have took you a long time to come up with that one. I'd say it's more frustration than classlessness. They are fighting to stay in the playoffs.

No, they will make it in the playoffs. They have always lacked class. Always. They are the dirtiest team in the NHL, no question.

They are not a lock to make the playoffs and every point counts.

7. Anaheim (88)

8. Nashville (86)

9. St. Louis (86)

Still a close race.

The Ducks, the hometown team, are being shafted by the refs tonight. The Ducks have 7 penalties to the Sharks 2. I guess Bettman doesn't want the Wings to catch up.

You're probly right...

Okay, it is not a for sure thing, but that scrum was 40% frustration, 60% lack of class.

And they seem to love showing their lack of class against the Sharks (Nabby, Vlasic, Boucher..and that's just from Perry).

If this happened to the Wings I know I would be pissed. That is a rather large discrepancy.

I will agree that the Sharks got the benefit of the calls tonight.

Refs seem to call more penalties against the home team and lack a hell of a lot of consistency. Definitely the worst season refs-wise I've seen.

You are always going to play a division opponent harder. The slash to the face was bad, but the Shark player was laying on top of the puck. That does not excuse the fact that it was a shot to the face. Perry going after Boucher, I want to see another replay. You don't just go after the goaltender for no reason.

Better have been pretty bad to justify a punch, knee/stomp, punch to a ******* goalie... look out, Wings.

I absolutely agree. It seems that every season the officiating becomes worse and worse. I think it might be time for a refresher course for some of them.

Like the shot to the balls Cleary took from Roloson.

If you take a look at the last minute of the game, you will see that Vlasic was actually trying to get up at one point right before Perry slashed him in the face, and he slashed him twice.

Take a look at the reply, Boucher didn't do s***. Perry just goes after him, and then Getzlaf charges in with his bald head and tries to make himself look tough when as soon as that bald head became visible, all toughness disappeared.

Perry can run Osgood all he wants, I don't think Oz can be rattled that way, I'm just worried about Z/Hoss/D/Franz/Lids getting a cheapshot and being seriously injured.

We saw what Ozzie can do against St. Louis. Little fists of fury. I agreed with the Sharks commentator when he said that the refs let the situation become what it was. Unfortunately, if the Wings play the Ducks in the playoffs, then they will have to rely on the refs to keep the situation in check. The refs better watch Pronger, which they won't, he gets away with murder.

If/when Pronger actually does kill some one in a game, I won't be shocked at all.

I bet he wouldn't get a penalty on the play either. He's like the one guy from the hook and hold era that still gets away with all that crap. He is the king of cross-checks .

I can't find a replay, but if Boucher did nothing, then Perry is a complete loser. The NHL only needs one Avery. I will squarely blame the refs for Perry's actions on Boucher because they did not call the slashing penalty. That's what happens when the officiating is so unbalanced all game long. The refs are afraid to call more penalties on the team that already has had so many.

That's why the Duck's team philosophy has just been to do whatever kind of cheap tactics to win. I have read an article with Burke stating before that the refs simply cant put every player in the box, and taking advantage of that will help them win games.
