FSN Detroit to Televise Entire First Round

"Fox Sports Net Detroit announced it will televise the entire first round series between the Wings and Columbus, with the first two games also being available in HD. The games on Versus are subject to local blackout."

I am still confused I guess. I am a michigander, so do I have to worry about not seeing games? Or am I safe that they will all be televised? If not, that is complete BS, its our f-in team.

Yeah, I've got charter so I have FSN, and i think its channel 88 has FSN-D (also known as FSN+).

I actually live 30 minutes north of detroit, but all of us in south east michigan feel like we are a part of Detroit.

Yea i live in waterford, about 25 miles north of detroit and when you live that close you pretty much still consider yourself from detroit because you live in the suburbs OF DETROIT. Not to mention, basically everything about detroit spreads to the surrounding cities, towns and communities anyway so yeah, you're pretty much from detroit

I think you'll need FSN+. If you don't have it, no worries. Any local sports bar should. I see no reason for you to need to be worried about not seeing games.

In all seriousness I tell people when I'm out of town that I'm from the Detroit area as well even though I live about 5 miles from the city limits. On topic thank god the games will be broadcast on FSN HD since I get Versus in the s***ty SD feed (seed WOW thread). Hopefully the away games are in HD as well, the regular season ones in Columbus were.

That's great news...except for us Wings fans in southern Ohio. Apparently FSN-Ohio isn't showing game 1 and Versus is only showing Penguins games because I guess to them two cities in Pennsylvania are closer to Cincinnati than Columbus and Detroit...

Edit: Forgot to check the schedule for tomorrow and Versus is, in fact, showing game 1. Sorry Versus!
